Steps to Starting a Fatherhood Initiative Program

There are many benefits of fatherhood initiative programs and children are the main people who get good out of the programs. If you want to start or grow a program in your area, there are many steps you need to take. Here are a few to help you get started.

Step 1: Assess Community
You will need to take stock of the community and see what the needs and assets are in that region. See what the rate of father absence is and what types of things fathers in the area would be interested in through such a program.

Step 2: Identify Fathers to Serve
Look into programs that are specific for the types of fathers the community has. The programs will be more effective if you and your colleagues are educated about the needs of fathers in the population in your region.

Step 3: Create Programs
Once you know what you need, create the programs that match the wants and needs of the fathers in the area and watch them thrive.
